Abstract

Corruption is a serious issue that significantly affects a nation’s social, political, and economic life. The low awareness among students regarding anti-corruption values remains a challenge in shaping a generation with integrity. The Anti-Corruption Education Class using a gamification approach was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 VII Koto Sungai Sarik to enhance students’ understanding and awareness of corruption. The program consisted of three stages: pre-socialization, implementation, and post-socialization, utilizing the Quizizz platform as an interactive learning medium. The results indicated that most students showed improved comprehension of corruption forms and internalized key anti-corruption values such as honesty, responsibility, and integrity. Students also demonstrated a high level of interest in gamified learning and considered it effective in making the material easier to understand. Therefore, the gamification approach has proven to be an innovative and engaging method in anti-corruption education, fostering integrity and anti-corruption awareness among students.
