Abstract

A global phenomenon that occurs in most countries in the world is international migration. Increasing relations between countries in turn influences identity or migration to the country concerned. The era of globalization was marked, among other things, by the formation of a single market in the world economy. On the other hand, the movement of capital, including the mobility of human resources, is so attractive that the phenomenon of international labor migration is inevitable. If Indonesian citizens want to look for work at home or abroad, education will affect their abilities and competencies in the job market. Bung Hatta University, as one of the tertiary institutions close to Malaysia, needs to play a role in facilitating education at the tertiary level. The Faculty of Economics and Business, which has 3 study programs, namely Accounting, Management, and Economics, needs to socialize so that these three study programs can lead 12th-grade students to achieve their dreams in Indonesia, especially in Sumatera Barat.

Community service activities are carried out through 5 stages, namely: 1) initial data collection, 2) obtaining permits, 3) preparation for implementation, 4) implementation of activities, and 5) monitoring and evaluation. The activity was carried out on June 9 2023 at SIKL Kualalumpur, which was attended by 42 grade 12 students and attended by the principal, Mrs. Friny Napasti, M.Pd. Socialization of the Faculty of Economics and Business is carried out by displaying Faculty profiles, and explanations about academic and non-academic activities and games. Students are actively involved as reflected in the questions they ask and the answers they give. With this outreach, it is hoped that the Faculty of Economics and Business will become an alternative for continuing education in Sumatera Barat.
