Abstract

ABSTRACT

Basic Leadership Training (LDK) and Character Development for OSIS Management at SMA Negeri 8 Padang is a community service program which aims to help improve organizational management skills and improve character in accordance with the ethics, norms and customs that exist in Minangkabau among organization administrators. Intra-School Students (OSIS) at High School (SMA) 8 Padang. The method used in this program is character training and development through providing knowledge and leadership skills, organizational management, as well as good ethics and morality. The evaluation results show that this program was successful in increasing the knowledge and skills of leadership and organizational management in the training participants, as well as helping to strengthen the character and positive attitudes of the OSIS administrators at SMA Negeri 8 Padang. It is hoped that this program can become a model that can be adopted by other schools in improving the quality of organizational management and leadership character among students. After this assistance has been carried out, all schools that have been trained can form OSIS management, hold Basic Student Leadership Training (LDK), can start preparing and implementing work programs, and carry out further guidance during the current management year. Keywords: Training, Basics, Leadership, Coaching, Character, OSIS Management
